Free domain name

Hi all,

Some hosts said that if I get hosting package from them I will receive a free domain name. Is there any catch, what will happen if I change the host after 1 year, and will I be the owner of the domain?

There is no catch actually. It's just that they include the price of the domain name in the hosting fee. And they camouflage it in a way that you do not notice. Remember nothing is free anywhere.
